How sessions run
Every Joone Ateljee class is built for adults returning to drawing or painting after time away — or for people who never had formal tuition and want structure without a degree path. We meet in the Telliskivi studio with easels already set. Instructors open with a short demonstration, then work table by table so feedback stays specific to your page.
Materials lists are sent when you book. Beginners can borrow basic pencils, charcoal, and acrylic starter kits for the first two visits. Oil painters bring their own solvents and rags; we provide ventilation guidance and shared drying racks. Groups stay between six and ten people so conversation does not drown concentration.
You do not need a portfolio. You do need curiosity and a willingness to look longer than feels comfortable. Progress shows up as quieter lines, cleaner colour mixes, and fewer abandoned starts at home.
